John 10:10 'The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.'The thief cometh not, but to steal. All those who enter otherwise than by the door wish to prey upon the flock.

1Corinthians 9:19 'For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.'
Although I am under no obligation to any man, yet I act as if every individual had a particular property in me, and as if I were the slave of the public.
Gain the more; lead more souls to Christ.
Matthew 19:30 'But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.'
