Horses

Psalm 32:9, ‘Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.’

Psalm 33:17, ‘An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.’


Lions

2Samuel 17:10, ‘And he also that is valiant, whose heart is as the heart of a lion, shall utterly melt: for all Israel knoweth that thy father is a mighty man, and they which be with him are valiant men.’

Proverbs 30:29-31, ‘There be three things which go well, yea, four are comely in going: A lion which is strongest among beasts, and turneth not away for any; A greyhound; an he goat also; and a king, against whom there is no rising up.’


Bears

2Samuel 17:8, ‘For, said Hushai, thou knowest thy father and his men, that they be mighty men, and they be chafed in their minds, as a bear robbed of her whelps in the field: and thy father is a man of war, and will not lodge with the people.’

Proverbs 17:12, ‘Let a bear robbed of her whelps meet a man, rather than a fool in his folly.’

Proverbs 28:15, ‘As a roaring lion, and a ranging bear; so is a wicked ruler over the poor people.’
